LIGHTING LEADS
Calendar Sponsorship Campaign

Dear IESNYC Calendar Sponsors, Members, and Friends,

We are embarking on our 2017 Calendar Sponsorship campaign and once again, I am counting on you to show your support. This year’s sponsorship campaign, Lighting Leads, reflects the Section’s commitment to growing a strong community of industry leaders.

As president of the Section, I have appealed to you before, following in the footsteps of IESNYC presidents that have preceded me. But this year, I thought I’d let an esteemed member of the Section—Suzan Tillotson, founder and president of Tillotson Design Associates—say a few words on our behalf.

“The IESNYC offers such great networking opportunities as well as relevant and important monthly educational seminars. Our profession has become increasingly complex and unpredictable which makes learning from each other and involvement in the Section more imperative than ever.”
— Suzan Tillotson

Suzan Tillotson, is the winner of over 50 lighting design awards including many IESNYC Lumen Awards. She is a bright light in a section that already claims more lighting designers than any other in the Society. And as the largest section in the Society, we are proud to have manufacturers, reps, professionals in allied fields, and educators in our ranks. We value each one of our members, and that includes our student members and our EmergIES. We take special pride that we all work together for the betterment of the lighting industry in New York City. Like so many others, Suzan relied on the IES when she first became a lighting designer and continues to rely on and support the IESNYC.

Throughout the year, the IESNYC publicly thanks our Calendar Sponsors for their generous support and commitment. I would like to personally thank you in advance because without the generous financial support of our sponsors, we could not continue to grow the Section and continue our good works—which in addition to our monthly programs and seminars also include the Student Lighting Competition, the IESNYC Scholarship, the Lighting311 website, and many more initiatives that can be seen on the IESNYC website.

We are still offering Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Studio sponsorships. The good news for you is that the cost of these sponsorships has not increased for 2017. What has increased is our membership, attendees at our year-round programs, subscriptions to our monthly newsletter, and visits to our website—giving your company the visibility it deserves.

Please feel free to contact me president@iesnyc.org or Mike Barr mbarr@lutron.com, chair of the Sponsorship Committee, if you have any questions.

Thank you again for your continued support.
Sincerely,
Brian Belluomini
President
New York City Section of The Illuminating Engineering Society
