IALD Accepts IESNYC Member Melissa Goren

The IESNYC congratulates Melissa Goren, LC, IALD, LEED AP BD+C, MIES, studio manager of LightBox Studios, the lighting design division of JB&B, on being been accepted by the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD). 

Melissa has over 15 years of architectural lighting design experience fostering innovative designs across multiple building sectors on projects for the Durst Organization. Hudson Yards, the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, the Belfer Research Building at Weill Cornell Medical College, the Jerome L. Greene Science Center for Columbia University’s Manhattanville campus; and the Rohm and Haas Building, Shanghai, China.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and her Master’s degree in Business Administration from New York University.

She was a judge for the 2016 IESNYC Lumen Awards, and part of the 2016 New York City Energy Conservation Code Commercial Committee and the IESNA Controls Protocol Committee that writes TM-23-11.
