6:00pm Reception and Exhibition
8:00pm Key Note Speaker and Announcement of Winners begins

This year’s theme, BOUND BY LIGHT, challenges students to construct a three-dimensional study that explores connections through light. Without connections, we are in the dark. From a child with a flashlight reading beneath a bedsheet, a glowing screen connecting people on different continents, or lighting a candle to send messages to the great beyond, light can create or enhance our links, networks, and relationships. Explore how light can affect connections — interpersonal, intercultural, technological, or something more — in our everyday lives.
Students currently enrolled in a NYC-based college or university are eligible.
