PRESENTER

Nydia Bonilla
Northeast Territory Manager, a-Light
Nydia studied architecture at UNC Charlotte, earning her BA Arch in late 1998. Her first job in lighting came shortly thereafter in 1999 by happenstance, working at The Mintz Lighting Group. It was here where she got an in depth training in lighting design, which she then carried over to other positions she filled at Syska Hennesy, Johnson Schinghammer, Arc Light Design and finally at Delta Lighting Solutions in Dubai, UAE. She started working in the sales side of the business upon her return to the USA from Dubai in 2011, with Debbas, a Middle East based distributor. This was followed by a North East regional manager position with Vibia (a decorative lighting manufacturer from Spain), which then led to her current position at a-Light.
