Message from the President

Mike Barr, MIES
IESNYC Section President

Each season has its own fan club. October means cooler temperatures, leaves changing, and inching toward the end of the year! Before you know it, it will be June 17th and time for the 2021 Lumen Gala.

Our September program on 3D Printing for Lighting Professionals was a huge success on so many levels. We had over 100 attendees that included international participants representing 15 countries! Our programs team has really hit new levels of success. We couldn’t thank them enough for their amazing hard work, dedication, and innovative thinking to make sure under these very challenging times, we continue to keep our section well informed. The webinar is available on demand for IESNYC members. Access webinar here. Login required.

Our member of the month is another bright star in our lighting community: Elaine Cook. Elaine and her talented contemporaries give me confidence that we will remain the lighting capital of the world.
