Message from the President
Mike Barr, MIES
IESNYC Section President
If you missed our virtual holiday gathering, you missed so much. The IESNYC collaborated with DLFNY and IALDNY on the event which centered around an auction of goods and service and donating money to a wonderful charity – Safe Horizon of Brooklyn. The evening raised over $7,000 and our Board of Managers were so motivated by the work being done by our lighting community that they were inspired to donate an additional $ 5,000 on behalf of the Section. You can still make a donation to their campaign HERE.
We also were presented with a wonderful opportunity via the WILD holiday gathering to support Feed the Frontlines who is doing great work feeding our frontline heros during these difficult times. Our Board of Managers was so moved by what they do for our community that they voted to match their successful evening of raising $ 5,000 with an additional $ 5,000 donation. You too can donate HERE
