OHNY@Night with the IESNYC Showcased Ten Lighting Projects
October 16, 2021. The IESNYC produced a series of talk/tours with lighting designers on the evening of October 16, during OHNY Weekend, New York City’s largest celebration of design, culture, and infrastructure. The series presented an opportunity for the public to learn about lighting projects that enhance our built environment.
“OHNY@ Night with the IESNYC” featured ten projects that either won Lumen Awards or were designed by Lumen Award-winning lighting designers. The Lumen Awards, a signature program of the IESNYC, celebrates excellence in lighting design.
“Thoughtful well-designed lighting can push back the night, define edges, create space, and spark emotions. The talented, energetic members of the IESNYC were so pleased to help restore a bit of dazzle to the city through these tours with OHNY,” says Megan Carroll, President of the IESNYC.
