Casting Light
Sponsorship Campaign

Dear IESNYC Sponsors, Members, and Friends,
Since becoming president of the IESNYC, I have been able to speak with so many of you and what I often hear is how much you enjoy and learn from our programs and events. They are educational, informative, and entertaining. We offer something for everyone - whether you are an award-winning lighting designer, manufacturers rep, an emerging professional who is just beginning their career in the industry, or students, who have so many exciting options to pursue. But what we are most proud of is the way we provide a sense of community for all and we couldn’t achieve any of this without the generous financial support of our Sponsors.

The theme of this year’s Sponsorship Campaign, Casting Light, reflects the wide net our mission encompasses. In addition to programs and events, our sponsors allow us to award our annual merit-based IESNYC Scholarship, our Thesis Prizes, the Student Lighting Competition, and support lighting initiatives and humanitarian causes.

Francesca Bettridge, FIES, IALD, LC, and Stephen D. Bernstein, MIES, IALD, principals of Cline Bettridge Bernstein Lighting Design (CBBLD) and both great friends of our Section, have graciously accepted the call to be our 2019 Campaign Sponsorship Spokespersons, and we are honored that they did. For the next year they will add their voice to champion the good works of the IESNYC and contribute their time and talent at Section programs and events.

"The IESNYC is unique in that it brings everyone in the lighting profession together. Whether lighting designer, architect, electrical engineer or manufacturer, we are all welcome.  Not only is there room for everyone, but the organization is relevant for us at every level of our careers. The impressive number, variety and quality of programs offered speaks to our mission of inclusion.

“Casting Light” is a great theme for this year’s campaign because it perfectly reflects what we do as practitioners and what the Section does for our community. If you’ve enjoyed an IESNYC program or event, and moreover, if the Section has helped you in your career, your support is a way of saying thank you and strengthening the profession for the next generation

—Francesca Bettridge and Stephen D. Bernstein

We are once again offering Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Studio Sponsorships. The cost of these sponsorships has not increased for 2019. What has increased is our membership, attendees at our year-round programs, subscriptions to our monthly newsletter, and visits to our website — all of which gives your company the visibility and thanks it deserves.
