This longer format allows for more in-depth exploration of a topic, greater conversation with attendees, and the possibility of hands-on time with materials or equipment, targeted at intermediate to advanced professionals. We welcome alternatives to the traditional lecture-style presentation here. Submission must include a proposed agenda and topics to be covered.
Workshop speakers receive a comped conference registration for up to two speakers per workshop.
Speaker Sessions
Presentations are 60 minutes, including 10-15 minutes for questions
Formats can include interactive sessions, lectures, and roundtable discussions. While the traditional lecture-style presentation is a fine and trusted format, we encourage you to be creative in your approach and welcome submissions that use video, live demonstrations, audience interaction, and other techniques to create new experiences for conference attendees.
Session speakers receive a discounted conference registration of $299 USD for up to two speakers per session.
Peer-Reviewed Conference Papers (Research Track)
Presentations are 30 minutes, including 5-8 minutes for questions
Submitted papers should be 3000 words or less, with a maximum of 10 pages, submitted in a consistent style, 12-point font, double-spaced.
Acceptance decisions will be based on the potential technical quality, originality, impact, and relevance to the conference audience. Papers that have been recently published which would benefit from dissemination to conference attendees through a formal presentation or poster are also encouraged. Peer-reviewed conference papers and their slides will appear in the Conference Proceedings.
