Brigid Hardiman Appreciation Day
On March 3rd, Brigid Hardiman, co-chair of the IESNYC Student Lighting Competition (SLC) received a Presidential Proclamation from IESNYC President Mike Barr, at the SLC exhibition and reception. Just before she was about to announce the winners of the 2020 SLC, he surprised her with the proclamation. “Brigid Hardiman is a true dedicated member of our New York City Section. She understands how very important the Student Lighting Competition is to the IESNYC, and welcomes others to join and participate. Brigid’s willingness to work hard and stay focused has led the Student Lighting Competition to its continuing success.,” says Barr. “I proclaim March 3, 2020 as Brigid Hardiman Appreciation Day and I encourage all IESNYC members to recognize Brigid as an IESNYC Section Champion.”
Hardiman is the third recipient of a Presidential Proclamation. She joins Megan Carroll and Rinkinson Gohel, who were in the audience at the SLC awards ceremony.
