ICYMI: Beautiful Day Greets 2024 Golf Outing Players
Nearly 40 players came out October 10 to enjoy a sunny Monday of socializing on the links. There was some color on the trees at the North Hempstead Country Club, which offered beautiful grounds and views for miles. The IESNYC collaborated with the IES Long Island Section to host a few duffers and some great golfers.
Thank you to hole sponsors Michaels Electric Supply, Specification Lighting Sales (SLS), DMF Lighting, Spectrum Lighting, and International Lights. Their support, along with participants, provided an early-morning continental breakfast, 18 holes with a shotgun start, and a delicious barbecue lunch. Profits go to support section programs.
A few excellent best-ball scores included a 62 for the Lumenwerx team of Michael Konczyk, Alessa Aguayo, and Michael Frantz; and a 63 for the Michaels Electric Supply foursome of David Greenberg, Michael Miele, Chris DiMaio, and David Mendes. Golf clap for Mike Miele winning longest drive for men and Elle Smith, longest drive for women. Michael Frantz won bragging rights for closest to the pin.
All had a great time being outside in the sun, getting to know their colleagues better. Watch for the dates for the IESNYC 2025 Golf Outing. We’ll be looking for new friends to fill out our foursomes!
