IES Webinar: BIM Standards IES-TM32-24 – Intro, Updates, and Adoption Benefits

August 8, 2024
12:00 pm - 1:00 pm EST

The IES BIM Standards Committee recently completed work to update TM-32, which defines BIM parameters used within the architectural lighting design industry. This new standard aligns with a similar European standard as well as a recent NEMA standard in the US. This webinar will provide an overview of the technical memorandum, including what recently changed. We will share the makeup of the committee and the IES member-wide survey conducted in 2022 to help guide some of the changes implemented in TM-32. Finally, the value proposition will be highlighted for manufacturers, specifiers, and designers throughout the industry.
