IES Webinar - Lighting Calculations Explained

February 13, 2020
12:00pm ET

Shaun Fillion will provide an under-the-hood look at radiosity calculations and raytrace renderings. We will look at the methodology used by photometric calculation software to represent the performance of lighting in the built environment, tracking it from the roots of the Lumen Method and Inverse Square Law. Visual representations of illuminance versus luminance will be covered. The seminar will also diagnose and tweak example models to make the lighting calculations more accurate.

Webinar participants are eligible for one (1) IES Continuing Education Unit (CEU).
