An Virtual Exhibition of Art and Design Created by Lighting Industry Professionals
Now in its seventh consecutive year, 28 New York City-based lighting professionals — designers, agency reps, manufacturers, educators, plus a few friends from allied fields — exhibited their after-hours creative pursuits at Moonlighting 2021 in a virtual online gallery.
The projects selected for the exhibition were curated by the Moonlighting Committee which consists of members representing the three New York City professional lighting organization — IESNYC, DLFNY, and IALD NY. They are responsible for all aspects of producing the event including logistics and fundraising. Works included collage, drawing, jewelry, mixed-media, neon, oil painting on wood, painting, photography, and soundtracks. In addition to returning artists who exhibited their latest works, Moonlighting 2021 had several first-time participants.
