News from NextGen
The winner of the IESNYC NextGen Challenge, a Tropical Scavenger Hunt held at the Lumen Gala, is Ari DiMaria, a lighting designer at Fisher Marantz Stone. He successfully completed the challenge of meeting and networking with at least three members of the IESNYC Board of Managers as well as snapping a selfie with each one of them at the Lumen Gala. In keeping with the theme of the 2022 Gala, Ari received a crystal pineapple with a custom, translucent plaque. Thanks to the NextGen members and the Board of Managers who participated in this event.
NextGen is a new group designed to enable EP's and students to engage with IESNYC and the lighting community. It provides a place for them to get together for creative activities, networking opportunities, and virtual events. NextGen has a home on Discord so members can take part in open chats and group discussions with their peers.
