
2019 NYC IES Illumination Award Winners
The IESNYC Section would like to congratulate the New York City-based lighting designers who received 2019 IES Illumination Awards presented during the IES Annual Conference in Louisville, Kentucky, August 8, 2019. We are proud of their achievements.

• An Illumination Award of Distinction was awarded for extraordinary achievement in lighting design was presented to the Suzan Tillotson, Ellen Sears, and Katherine Lindsay from Tillotson Design Associates for GATEWAY ARCH MUSEUM, St. Louis. This project previously won an IESNYC 2019 Lumen Award of Excellence.
• Designers Chiming Lin, Xin Tian, Chao Chen from Brandston Partnership, Inc. also received an Illumination Award of Distinction for SUNAC SALES CENTER in Shanghai, China
• An Illumination Award of Excellence for an exceptional contribution to the art and science of light was presented to Susannah Gilbard, Michael Hew Wing, and Ashley Beeler from Lightcraft for HEARST DIGITAL MEDIA, New York City
