The IESNYC is proud to introduce the Guiding Lights Circle, our new mentorship initiative designed to enrich the careers of both seasoned and emerging professionals.
Guiding Lights Circle embraces the next generation of aspiring lighting professionals by pairing them with accomplished mentors who have a proven track record in the field. Mentorship facilitates a nurturing environment where emerging talents acquire the skills and connections they need to thrive.

IESNYC MentorsMentors should have at least 5 years experience For this pilot program we are looking for a total of 10 mentors Provide guidance, share industry knowledge, and support mentees in their professional development.

IESNYC MenteesMentees should have 0-5 Years experience For this pilot program we are looking for a total of 10 mentees Engage actively, seek advice, and apply learned insights to their career growth.

Program in Brief
- Objective: The IESNYC Mentorship Program aims to support and guide the next generation of lighting professionals through mentorship.
- Duration: The mentorship program runs for six months, starting from September 16, 2024, to March 14, 2025.
- Feedback: Mid-program and end-of-program evaluations are required to improve the program for future participants.
- Meetings: All participants are expected to meet one-on-one, monthly, at mutually agreeable times. Participation in Mentee Workshops and networking events is highly encouraged.
