IESNYC Announces the 2016 Service Award Recipients

Brilliance is defined as extreme brightness or radiance, exceptional intelligence, ability, skill, or talent, imposing splendor or magnificence. On June 16, 2016 at the Lumen Gala, the IESNYC proudly recognized the following members with these qualities; individuals who make the New York City Section shine.

Frank Conti
IESNYC Brilliance Award
Presented by the New York City Section of the IES for dedicated service and contribution to the New York City lighting community.

Frank has been a member for 46 years and has given his time, shared his wisdom, and financially supported the Section before, during, and after he served two times as Section president and for many years served as a member of the Board of Managers.

Jeff Hoenig
IESNYC Special Recognition Award
In recognition of outstanding service to the section that has significantly furthered the purpose of the society continuously in various programs and activities.

Jeff is an associate at Cline Bettridge Bernstein Lighting Design and co-chair of the IESNYC Education Committee. The Education Committee offers many opportunities via classes and workshops to sharpen the specification and design community's knowledge and skill, focusing on different technical and design aspects of architectural lighting, electrical engineering. His hard work and dedication allows us to maintain the very high standards for which our Section is known.

Adrienne Shulman, LC
IES Section Service Award
In recognition of outstanding service of five years or more to the section that has significantly furthered the purpose of the society continuously in various programs and activities.

Adrienne is a specification regional sales manager in the northeast for Eaton's Lighting Solutions. She was given this award for her tireless work on the Lumen Awards and Gala for over nine years. Her dedication ensures the Lumen's continued success.
